Description

Plumeria, also known as the frangipani, is one of Queensland's most popular garden additions: an elegant, smooth-barked tree with distinctive ovoid leaves and stunning, fragrant flowers. Native to Central and South America, the frangipani comes in many different varieties, each with flowers of a different hue – sunshine yellow centres circled with white, pink shot through with white, and, of course, the tri-coloured pink, yellow and white 'sunset' flowers. Frangipanis can be kept in pots as shrubs, or planted and grown into small trees. They're relatively easy to maintain, but be careful of rot in wet conditions (look out for branches going brown and soft). Use a free-draining soil and only water your frangipani during hot, dry periods over summer. Medium size. Visit https://onegarden.com.au/products/white-frangipani for more variants.
