Grow it Local Community & Gardening Tour – Lakelands
Dig In Mandurah We’re teaming up with Grow it Local and our local community gardens for the National Grow it Local Community Garden Tour. Join us at Lakelands Community Garden for a relaxed, hands-on open garden day. This is your chance to garden alongside celebrity gardener Paul West while exploring your local community garden. Learn how to harvest seeds or weave a basket, gain gardening knowledge and tips from the pro’s, plant edible seeds to take home and start your growing journey, and connect with local growers while enjoying a great morning in the garden. Kids can explore the mud kitchen, enjoy garden story time and go-find bingo, and get up close with a range of garden critters. A coffee and ice-cream truck will be onsite, with the first 250 coffees and ice-creams free. Morning tea
