What to Plant in April

April is one of the best planting months of the year. The soil is still warm from summer, the intense heat has eased in many regions, and cool-season crops can establish quickly without stress.

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to plant your winter veggies, this is it.

Here’s what to plant in April, broken down by climate zone.
